SATURDAY SWEET TOOTH!

YUM YUM! Blueberry Muffins!
RECIPE:

Not too "pretty" to look at :), I still don't know how to make my baked goods look nice. But this is my first time trying this recipe so I think it will look better next time lol.

YUM YUM YUM! They are SO good. They are a little too crumbly, but the taste is amazing. I love blueberries so this is a good recipe for me to have. Sometimes I don't eat the whole carton of blueberries before they start getting soggy, but now I will just take those soggy blueberries and make muffins.

Wal-Mart Purchases

All of these things were purchased by me at Wal-Mart last night. These are reviews of RIMMEL Soft Kohl liner pencil, Cover Girl line exact, and Total Eye Makeover Set from ON-THE-GO Beauty.

Cover Girl did a great job with these eye liners. UNFORTUNATELY I accidentally bought Brown instead of Black :(. So I will have to go back and buy a black one too. The eyeliner is easy to apply and I really like the felt tip because it stays moist. $6.24
The Soft Kohl pencil is great. It goes on very smooth and you can smudge it easily. I have not had a chance to use it yet, but so far I like what I see. $2.77 at Wal-Mart.

I bought this brush set because it was the perfect size to keep in my purse. I love it! The brushes are soft and fluffy, but best of all miniature. They were only $6.98.

Obagi Nu-Derm

I just went to an Esthetician today to talk about my skin care regime. I really have not stuck to anything and I don't really have a daily routine. She took pictures of my face and the computer showed that I had a lot of UV damage. I found out that the darker the skin, the more sensitive it tends to be. And my skin is unique because I am half Asian and my Dad is a Ginger, which means my skin is very sensitive and will hyper-pigment and burn easily. I learned a lot about my skin from my appointment and I am SO glad I went. I thought I had really healthy skin since I stay out of the sun and I wear sunblock most days, little did I know that my skin is so sensitive that a few hours in the sun unprotected can do a lot of damage.

I started the Obagi Nu-Derm system tonight and I am so excited to see results. I will be posting updates weekly. Tomorrow when the sun is out I will post my Obagi before picture. I want to use natural light so you can see all my flaws!

New Project

SORRY I have been gone for a while. I have been in NY visiting family. It was a lot of fun, but I am glad to be home. I made this iPhone case before I left, but it was taking a long time to dry so I had to leave it.

Olay Regenerist Microdermabrasion & Peel System

I saw this at Wal-Mart for $24. I wanted to try it because your skin can never be too healthy. It comes with two steps.
Step One:
Apply the derma-crystals onto your face. Message it in around your face for about a minute. Avoid your eyes.

Step Two:
Apply activator serum thickly onto your face. Thickly cover the derma-crystal mask. You will see it start to foam which means it is releasing conditioners into your skin. Message it for up to 1 minute.

Step Three:
Use a wash cloth and warm water to wash everything off your face.
DONE!

Conclusion, I really like it. My skin was a little dry after, but the whole process felt really nice.

Shoe Tutorial

I purchased a pair of white flats from Wal-Mart for $9. I saw potential in them and decided to DIY some cute shoes!

WHAT YOU NEED:
E-6000 GLUE
Some Lace or Beading
A cute Cabochon
Some Rhinestones or Pearls
Glitter
Scotch Quick-Dry Adhesive

I started by cutting off the bow in the front. Then I took a strand of pink beads and glued it with E-6000 around the top of the shoes.
After the beading around the shoe dried a little I painted the front of the shoes with Scotch Quick-Dry Adhesive and sprinkles pink glitter onto it. Once the first coat of glitter is dry paint a second coat of glue on and sprinkle with glitter a second time.

While the glitter is drying use your E-6000 glue and glue the rhinestones or flatback pearls onto the back of the shoe. Use E-6000 to glue your Cabochon of choice onto your shoes once the 2 coats of glitter are dried. I made these resin Hello Kitty heads that I wanted to use.

TADA!!!! SO CUTE! And SO easy.

Favorite ROCK!

I have noticed for a while that I don't really have a favorite type of gemstone. Every girl likes diamonds, and I must admit I love the way they sparkle. But I am not a fan of diamonds because they have an artificially inflated market. Diamonds could be the most common rock on this planet, but we would never know because the monopoly in charge makes sure to brainwash you into believing they are extremely rare.

I want something that will let my personality shine through. Since I love the color blue I think an Aquamarine is gorgeous! And since I LOVE watermelon its only appropriate that watermelon tourmaline is the other favorite.
