HALLOWEEN!

This post is really late but I have been waiting to get my pictures back. I was a Naiad for Halloween and it was a really risky costume that I put together. I was basically walking around with flowers pasted over my lady parts. I LOVED my costume though. The most expensive part was the 44 inch long blue wig O-M-G I LOVE that wig! I would wear it 100% of the time if it didn't make me look insane lol. I got a lot of special treatment because of it too, which is always fun. Anyways my inspiration came from Petrilude on youtube. I saw his video and I HAD to be a Nymph for Halloween.

Too Faced Enchanted Glamourland Palette

I purchased this at Sephora and I couldn't be happier with it. The only thing I am not sure about is how long the case it comes in will last. It is very sturdy, hard cardboard but I wonder if it will eventually start tearing. I love the eye shadows and the lip plumper is great! For $49 it is an AMAZING DEAL!!! You get 15 eye shadows, bronzer, blush, lip plumper, eye shadow shadow insurance, and instructions.

Obagi Nu-Derm Week 12 PICTURES!!

So I just took some pictures of my face with NOTHING on it so you can see the difference from 12 weeks ago. Just click on the pictures to make them larger.

This picture down here was the hyper-pigmentation on the side of my lip. It is a lot lighter and my complexion it more even. Although it has only lightened a little bit, I am positive that after a few more months it will be gone completely. If I have these results after only 12 weeks I can't imagine what my skin is going to look like a year or 2 down the road.

Wet n Wild Lipstick Haul

This is what happens when you go to Wal-Mart at 2 AM...... you leave with too much stuff!!! This Wet n Wild haul was great though. I love all the colors and I think I LOVE this new line of lipstick they have. Why spend $12 for a MAC lipstick when you can get these for $1.93!!!!!

Obagi Nu-Derm Week 11

I am almost done with the 12 week trial and I started peeling again this week :/ Random. But I am feeling good. I purchased some C serum from Obagi and it is on it's way to me. I will update my routine and let you know what I notice while using the serum. I am almost out of #3 and #2 so I had to buy some more of that. It will probably last another 2-3 weeks so that is pretty good. The #3 was expensive :( $80, but I think it is worth it.

Deadmau5 & Skrillex

O-M-G guys. Last night I had so much fun (minus the couple next to us who were basically getting it on). Last night I went to see Deadmau5 and Skrillex and they were both amazing. Mau5 was really great, he killed it. I had never heard of Skrillex until last night but I really liked him. He is a cute little guy with lots of energy on stage. AH I danced a lot but I was not feeling all too good so I spent the last hour of the show sitting down :( lame I know.

This wasted couple next to us were annoying. The guy was spraying people with water so a chick threw her beer at him, unfortunately I happened to be right next to him so I got soaked. They were also stripping each other and trying to touch us so we had to push them away a lot. To make the matter worse I think they were like 16 or 17.

BUT I was THRILLED with how my makeup held up throughout the night. I used my Dinair for contour, foundation, and blush. I was dancing A LOT and it was super hot but my makeup stayed perfectly in place. I was really impressed with my foundation because usually when it gets wet it will wipe off easily, but sweating didn't do anything to it. I wore lots of makeup last night and really long lashes so I kind of looked like a drag queen lol. I took this pic at the end of the night AFTER I was dancing, sweating, having beer thrown on me, and it was very hot.

Obagi Nu-Derm Week 10!!!!

YAY week 10. I know I will be using this product for the rest of my life and I am excited that I found something I can't live without. But everything is going great. I purchased a vitamin C serum that I am going to start using once it arrives. I am also going to get some more Retin-A soon which will be stronger than the current one I am using.

Obagi Nu-Derm Week 9

Week 9 has arrived! I was mistaken with what I thought before. The 12 weeks is a trial and your first turn over of the cells. It take 12 weeks for a full cell turn over so I am still not done. After your first 12 weeks you can adjust dosage of things like the Retin-a. You can also mix products between the two Obagi Nu-derm systems: Normal to Oily and Normal to Dry. I am using the normal to dry products but I will be upping my dosage of Retin-a after I am done using the one I have. I know a lot of people have their suspicions about the Hydroquinone but from the research I have done I cannot find any people who have had any hyper-pigmentation through Obagi (using it correctly). It is a very safe and solid line. I will go ahead and trust the experts on this one, especially since my skin has never felt better.

Givenchy & Blink Liquid Eyeliners

I ordered these liquid eyeliners online at sephora.com. I had used the Givenchy before and really liked it because it was very precise and the formula was nice, although a little flaky. The Blink LE was one I had not tried before since sephora only has it online. The Blink is not as intense a black as the Givenchy. The Givenchy applicator brush is better than the Blink IMO, but the formula on the Givenchy seems grainy. I don't know if mine was just defective but the Givenchy had some, I don't know it looked like dried eyeliner chunks in the formula. BUT I do like the intense black the Givenchy has over the Blink. I have to apply two layers of the Blink to get the intensity of one layer of the Givenchy.


The Givenchy rubbed off in little flakes easily. The Blink rubbed on in bigger flakes but it took a lot more rubbing to get it to flake. All in all these both are good eyeliners. The Givenchy is $5 more expensive for less product, BUT I use less of the Givenchy to get the intensity I like. Whereas the Blink comes with more product but I have to apply a lot more because it is not an intense black.

After using them for a week I think the Givenchy is much better than the Blink liner. The blink liner flakes.

Obagi Nu-Derm Week 8

*singing* O-B-A-G-I I have only 4 more weeks left of you!!!! *
I am actually a little sad to be so close to the 12 week mark. I am going in next week to talk about my results with the doctor. I just wanted to make sure I got the full potential of the system. This week I have been peeling every evening around my chin and mouth. It's weird because I will just randomly start peeling on certain days. Maybe it is because the air is changing here with Fall coming.

I needed a new case for my phone so last night I got to work and make this case. I LOVE IT! I glued a mirror on the back so I wont have to dig through my purse to touch up my makeup. I should have made a "How To" video with this but the lighting was terrible so the video would have come out pretty dark. Anyways I hope you like my latest creation!

Obagi Nu-Derm Week 7

Everything is going good here with the Obagi. Loving my skin and feeling great in general. I didn't take any pictures and I probably won't do another video until week 9 or 10. I am almost done though YAY! Once I get to week 11 I am going to schedule an appointment with my doc. to get info on how to do maintenance. I hope they keep me on Obagi products because they have a really solid line and I am a life long fan now. Any time some one asks me about products I recommend you can bet that Obagi will be top of the list.

Life has been pretty boring though lol. Its getting to be that time where a girl just can't stop eating and gets really moody (you all know what I am talking about). Today I ate TWO cones with Rocky Road ice cream and I finished a can of whip cream. I also crave red meat A LOT this time of the month so we have been going out to eat a ton. We are kind of tight on money right now because these last few months expenses kept coming out of nowhere (cars, home repairs.....). I have to admit that I probably spent too much money on my winter wardrobe as well. I grew up in AZ so I decided this year that I would be ready for the Colorado winter. Last year I was miserable. My jackets were pretty worthless and I really didn't know how to stay warm. This year I purchased a nice down jacket and some boots to wear outside. I am really excited for the winter this time actually, because I feel like I will enjoy it since I know what to expect.

Describe Yourself: Natural Style

I am a liquid eyeliner expert. I have owned most products over the last 10 years. I was surprised with the quality of this eyeliner pen. I just used it and it was nice. BUT I ordered two pens and one pen is great and the other not-so-much.

My Daily Routine

Hey all. This is my morning routine. It takes me under 20 minutes most of the time. I used gel liner in this video instead of liquid because I wanted to use the Physicians Formula liner again. Anyways I hope you enjoy it!

DIY Ruffled Vanity Stool

This vanity stool was my latest project. MBH and I finally moved the furniture in the room around so that I could set up a little vanity by the window. All the chairs I found were either too high or too short for this area so I ventured out to make my own. I used this bright green litter bucket we kept out back. I was just going to throw it away so why not right.

I used some scrap fabric I had and my trusty glue gun. I also sewed my own ruffles. Here is what I created.
