Kawaii 可愛

Kawaii is a Japanese term that means "cute". This is what Japanese life revolves around. Characters like Hello Kitty are examples of the Kawaii phenomenon in Japan.

I was introduced to the world of Kawaii when I visited Japan in 2009. I was in love the second we stepped off the plane. My whole life I have had a unique style and I felt like Japan was where I belonged. Unfortunately people there don't vary much in size so they can sell shoes and clothing with sizes S, M, L, LL. Size LL is the equivalent to a size 9 US womens shoe and probably a size 26 in womens denim.
